Im from pink dresses bordered with lace, to enormous birthday parties I dont even remember.
From oral blossoms blowing in the wind.
Im from the shaded tree,and it's lofty branches.And broken bones.
I'm from confetti spilling over a cake and from late night bonfires flames burning merrily, crackling.I'm from tearful goodbtyes that I hardly remember.
From jumprope and digging for rolypolies and keeping worms in a jar,
From baking bread and water drinking competions.
And from notes written in a made up language.
I'm from secret newspapers .
And secret meetings behind the auditoriums.

From hiding lunch boxes under the desks and Maths classes that were a joke.

I'm from hiding bombs underneath chairs.
Discreet glances stolen during the morning assemblies.
From talking,laughing and hiding from the world with her, from two names carved upon a tree.
I'm from becoming the most talked about girl to the least, and more tearful goodbyes that I wish I didn't remember.
